Work
I run the brand at Ars Nova, an Off-Broadway theater with 50+ shows a season. I set the budget with our executives and take it to the board, and I manage two people.
At Ars Nova
Campaign for the Off-Broadway debut of Xhloe Rice and Natasha Roland, three-time Edinburgh Fringe First winners. It sold out and extended twice, and The New York Times reviewed it.
I wrote the relaunch of Ars Nova’s campaign. The relaunch saw a $1M gift from the Miranda Family Fund.
Ran social for Brandon Kyle Goodman’s show, including a one-take reel of Brandon explaining what being non-binary means. We got the show onto Morning Joe, too.
I built Ars Nova’s monthly giving program: $10 and $25 tiers, wired into premiere presales.
I wrote the release for our festival of 15 new works. Time Out New York and Secret NYC both covered it.
A year-long, panel-selected program for managers at arts nonprofits.
Before Ars Nova
Co-founded it and grew it to 10M+ readers through SEO and audience development. Led a team of nine and co-built the CMS.
Reported features and video, and co-hosted the podcast Tomorrow with Joshua Topolsky.
A personal finance channel with 1M+ subscribers. My idea: a five-hour live fundraiser for Rainbow Railroad, which raised $16,830.
Produced and edited hundreds of interviews for Julie Klausner’s podcast, and built the studio.
A live reading series with dozens of sold-out shows. Bowen Yang, Ayo Edebiri, Ziwe and Joel Kim Booster all read with us.
Wrote their front-facing language, and planned events and fundraisers.
